All exclusives have an extra brown shipper box that comes along so if I order from them the extra box is included?Just saw it now so kinda late reply, but I ordered dozens of limited P.O.Ps from BiJ, and they all had the brown outer box. Two remarks regarding what has been said above: 1) BiJ use bubble wrap in addition to papers, and 2) for exclusive you have to pay the full amount upfront. I hope it helps!

    i finally got my order today after it has been stuck in limbo for 7 weeks. luckely the figure is ok because the box is heavily damaged, even the blisters took some damage.

    How's NY with cancellations? I think I'm gonna have to cancel one of my pre orders. Did anyone do it, what was their reaction? I have so many orders with them and I don't wanna lose my account.

    Update on my cancellation:

    I literally sent a ticket about canceling my order and they responded and canceled my order IN 3 MINUTES! That's the fastest customer service I've seen! And it currently says their service is close because it's 5.25pm (their hours are between 10am-5pm). I'm VERY impressed.

    I sent a kind explanation of the situation and said sorry for canceling, their response was very kind as well and they also said: ''Please remember that We normally do not accept cancellation.'' Which is very understandable.

    Thank you, it was the rerelease of Kurisu from GSC ITEM #78589 and what you said might have a positive effect on this case! However, they were very sweet and we actually sent back to back emails saying thank yous after that! :D Their name is ''Emi'', hope they'll be the one to answer again whenever I have a problem!

    I'm still waiting for the PS4 Spider-Man to ship and it was released on September 21st, I sent them multiple tickets and they said they are still waiting to receive the figures.

    A small personal review about NY services:

    - NY squeeze your order in the smaller possible carton box they have (usually recycled), wrap the item with a single layer of bubble wrap, rarely add extra protection. This is something to consider when you live in the other side of the world, like me.

    - NY always bill you a higher shipping cost. For example, last purchase I did was 3100 yens shipping for SAL Small Packet. The package label says it costed 1690 yens. (worth asking a refund?)

    - NY often have the best prices for items, but the shipping may null it comparing to other stores like Hobby Search and AmiAmi (when the item is sold widely, not an exclusive).


    Basically I shop at NY for two and two reasons only:
    - Get exclusives;
    - Use Ferry International for large items.

    If you weight the shipping costs compared to other shops that gives you a way better packaging service, it worth paying a little more to get your item in one piece.

    I use Nippon, because of their Transi-Logistic shipping. Hungarian customs become crazy and check almost every figure (not just mine, but other collectors' too). So, when customs catch my figure I have to pay 27% VAT and roughly 10 EUR fee. And to make things worse, they calculate VAT from the figure price and shipping cost. I rather pay for French VAT (20%), than the highest VAT in EU.

    (For nendoroids, figmas and prize figures I use AmiAmi and Unregistered SAL shipping, but one of the packages I ordered back in June didn't arrive.)

    NY's getting aggressive with those Payment Request emails.
    Been getting the same one every day, I'm just waiting for other stuff getting release dates so I can combine.
    Besides, payment deadline for something that doesn't release until 2 weeks after is also a bit... <.<

    Edit: And I just gotta complain about this...
    I pre-ordered Ultra Instinct Goku right when he went up.
    Now I want to combine him with something, but it says they'll take the most recent price then...
    And of course NY is scalping him now...
    Not gonna buy those releases there anymore.

    Ok the reissue of her ITEM #464678 is now going to be released on November 8.

    On October 28 I got the notification to pay before November 4.
    On October 29 I got a notification to pay before November 5...
    Today I got a notification to pay before November 1...........

    Now really, I don‘t like shops playing with their customers.

    I ordered a lot from them in the past, I never canceled any of my orders, and still have more than 30 open orders with them. At the moment, I have 4 orders I have to pay before November 8, and this order to pay before November 1.

    THIS TIME I WILL SIMPLY SAY „NO“! I mean of course I will pay my orders, no problem. But I was initially asked to pay before November 4, so I will pay exactly on time.

    If they ban me for not paying on November 1, just because I don’t want to, not because I can’t, I am fine with that, there are plenty of other shops out there to order from. And I also have lots of already paid figures with them, I would just claim my money back then.

    Well, all I wanted to say is, I have enough of this „ping pong“ playing with customers...

    This month has seriously been bad for payment requests - they have requested payment for anything November, even one thing that I think is a dead cert for a delay (based on past performance). The item is also from a GSC brand, so it's not like it'll be a sudden surprise release. They also seem to be upping the times they get early payment for exclusives too. Really not pay on release any more tbh.

    Is this behaviour that has lead me to using them less and less and try out a couple of other retailers that mostly meet my requirements.
