Opened but the figure is in very good condition. No notable damages. Parts complete unless mentioned. Box is also in good condition.
DMYVor 4 Tagen#83358181Ah, so it's not just me? That sucks to hear.
I've been trying to get a replacement part, but Alter doesn't do customer support outside Japan, so they suggested I try and get the store I bought it from to contact the distributor. Kinda doubting it'll pay off.
How did you go about sticking a pin in it? If I can get the broken peg out I could try a DIY fix.

I used a pair of tweasers to remove the peg, the peg is a plastic cap over a tag of material from the flag. The tweasers will sink into the material easily as it is quite soft, don't worry if you think it is going to mkae a mess. You will want make a hole in the material larger than the pin you are going to be using. Make sure the pin is either stainless steel or aluminium, if you use anodized or plated steel it will eventually rust. Next use a pair of wire cutters to make a few groves on sides of the pin (these are for grip). Mix epoxy resin and pour it into the hole you drilled then pop the pin in, epoxy when set is stronger than the material the flag is made of! Push the new peg into the flag to mark your next hole then repeat the process to join the two (be careful with depth).

KlonVor 4 Tagen#83366533Unbelievable, it's almost a year since this figure was released. For me it's still one of the biggest disapointments I received from Alter. Haven't pre-ordered a single figure from them anymore since last October and set all my hopes on the Jeanne Alter made by Licorne.
As for getting the damaged peg out: I'd try it with a small screw and pull it out with pliers. For the pins you could drill a small hole and glue the pin inside or heat up the metal pin and sick in into the plastic. At least that would be what I'd try, but Soarin may come up with a better way to do it.

Very sad though, Alter was one of my favorite manufacturers, its Love Live ! line was perfect and gorgeous from top to bottom...

SoarinVor 4 Tagen#83358009It is pretty common, the material used for the flag is a bit porus and very soft. I put a metal pin through the peg after it broke off. Getting it out of the slot when it breaks is a pain though.

DMYVor 17 Tagen#82705457Late to the party, but here's my review.
It's a lovely figure (maybe not $400+ lovely, but hey), but I had a bad experience with the flag's support peg breaking for seemingly no reason. I got in touch with GSC and they basically said "you're on your own pal", so.
She looks okay without the flag, at least. I don't think it's a common defect but I'd watch out for it, nonetheless.
