And I can say that I never received any notifications from them when the remaining payment ("tail") periods opened for the stuff I bought. I had just been checking the store pages obsessively every few days and saw they were open myself. If I hadn't been checking occasionally, I probably would've missed them. Other than that though, I've been content with their service.
But that Houkai 3rd figure came out in Feb. 2020. The remaining payment period must have closed months ago. And from the site terms I saw when I completed my order payments, Tmall deposits are non-refundable, even if you miss the remaining payment period. Using Chrome would help you understand non-English sites since it has an automatic translate feature. Still, it wouldn't hurt to message Superbuy and request a refund. The worst that will happen is they say it isn't possible and you lose your deposit.

At the time, someone said the low price was because this was a downpayment for a preorder. It's been just about a year since I ordered this and the only thing I've received so far is a preorder bonus of some kind of art scroll. Am I screwed? I never received a request for additional payment or anything.

Oh, looks like superbuy is crap then. I guess they should be still selling it there, it's Yae birthday soon too.
