A replacement Illya when she is sold out, and being sold for like twice her original amount? Heck I'd kill for that version of her, fly or no fly! :P

materix01 (Vor 3 Jahren) #12847882Are you really serious in getting customer service to sort out a problem like a dead fly?
Could just deal with it like a normal reasonable person.

Some people just really like having their figures completely in tact, myself included. When I buy a figure I expect to get everything I paid for and not something that will automatically knock value off of the item. It's like buying a figure at a discount because the box is dented yet the figure is brand new. Tbh this just looked like both NY and the company were lazy to the fact that they didn't sell that particular box at a discount at least so I can't say I blame this person for wanting at least some money off the figure as some of the value is automatically knocked off when a fly decided to stick its butt to it lol

I don't think I'm going to view that particular spoiler.

Eww. I'd just cut that bit of the box off, honestly. Like the top layer of paper.

Sorry but I find this very funny. Just use a knife to scrap it off. Sorry this happened but no way they will refund you for a defect like this.

I would parade it aroundnND the figure sites then sell it as the ultra rare-fly edition! Too bad you ccan't get it appraised by mandarake...

First, try Nippon-Yasan. If nothing becomes of that,
Second, try the manufacturer. Even if they say "overseas customers blah blah blah", it can't hurt to ask them. If nothing becomes of that, too,
Third, try the item page, if you haven't already. Explain your situation and say that you're looking for a spotless box. There may just be someone who otherwise would throw their box away.

Kendappa (Vor 3 Jahren) #12838806Nippon Yasan, huh... I once got an opened and "resealed" box and nothing happened.
    Wouldn't hope too much. :/
Edit: Forgot - it was declared as a brand new one.

Are you sure the "reseal" wasn't just a quality check done by the manufacturer?
Sometimes they open the figures if something is missing and put a new sticker over the old one before shipping it off to the stores.
I've noticed that people here doesn't seem to be aware that that's what manufacturers do sometimes.

It's just a box. Asking for replacement for a fly painted in the figure would be a reason to complain, a box with a spot is not imo.
