    pls sell me ten monikas

As for people discussing legal matters!
I previously wrote a short article about a possible fanmade buy/sell/trade club that I still haven't written to a mod about b/c fanart is a grey legal area. Thing is, convention centers don't really care, and neither do a lot companies. It is ultimately the artists who would get in trouble, but I haven't heard of this happening much.

Dan Salvato said, regarding DDLC, selling fan work is fine as long as you create them yourself (in this case, find your own printer & keep the stock yourself) and don't sell through sites like redbubble, society6, etc. Of course, these exist anyway and I don't know how much of an effort he actually makes to pull them from websites, but that is his statement.

Your art is lovely though!! I'd definitely be interested~

ALSO I've been buying from tictail recently because it seems a lot of artists are using that these days? But I've bought from storenvy as well, and (less often) etsy.

indian_summer22 (Vor 3 Monaten) #38564631This person takes quite a bit of offense at your 'yikes'.
There is no set definition of the term art. Art is what you want it to be. I believe there are two basic conceptions: art as an aethetic and art as an idea. You obviously subscribe to the first. I believe both should be combined. Thus a picture that is merely pretty is not interesting to me. I can look at it for a moment, say 'oh it looks nice" and thats it. It doesnt give me anything beyond that.
Its fine if you dont agree with my opinion, but there really is no need to be this rude.
Telling me not to be rude when you told this person her art had nothing artistic about it seems a little hypocritical.

You have a very lovely, vibrant and cute style that fits anime a lot. It's exactly the type of merch I usually get from convention and online (and it's a very popular genre as well) I would buy some cute girls. I'm all about them uwu

I will usually purchase from my friends/fellow artists on Bigcartel, Etsy, Storenvy, their personal owned website, etc.

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SELL FANARTS.
Hell. A lot of artists would be shady otherwise.

If you need guidelines for pricing, pm me :)!
Good luck with the rest. I look forward in seeing more of your art.

I'd buy if you make the rest of the ddlg girls,

especially if you decide to make their 2nd versions, or in girl x girl pairs

I think they would definitely sell, however idk what legal issues there are with selling fanarts. Best to ask some legal advisor about this to prevent loads of shit.

    They are very cute!
I like your colour choices, and style of colouring it's a pleasure to look at. Maybe try experimenting with some more facial features such as noses or eyes, otherwise it's a risk a lot of these cute faces turns out to look kind of same same.

OceanRoost (Vor 3 Monaten) #38562508Yikes, I don't know what this person is talking about by saying your pictures aren't artistic. They look great to me as someone who isn't quote unquote self-taught.
Someone below me mentioned something about background compositions and I think that's something you could improve on but overall I think they look great! Things like this would sell well at conventions I think they're very eye-catching.
