Kommentare Nendoroid DIY face (updated)

  • Corrupted-MirrorVor 4 Jahren#7427888XD Brilliant faceplants. Thanks for sharing some tips as I'm about to start up another custom nendo very soon. I used to hold my breath and paint with a sewing needle to draw the eyes lol Watercolor pencils definitely seem the better choice on this one!

The idea was inspired from BJD faceups steps, the great thing about pencils is that you can erase it if you mess up, oh and if you're satisfied with your result make sure you seal it first before getting on a second layer like if you're colouring over your lines, I just updated the ahegao faceplate and I colored with markers without sealing because I was planning on redoing it later anyway, so the lines got a bit smudged in some places

bambipieVor 4 Jahren#7427229Awesome job. Its a shame they are so hard to get a hold of. I have wondered about molding and recasting just for personal use.

The only reason they'd be hard to get is that GSC never comes to any convention in your city (whivh is my case), and also the fact that nobody sells it online. I'm not sure how much molding material costs but it might be cheaper to get damaged or defective (as for paint defect XD ) faceplates from splits for customization.

M-LinfaVor 4 Jahren#7423849No they're not expensive, at least I didn't see anybody sell it for a high price, because there was nobody selling it in the first place, I didn't try ebay though (I didn't think shipping would be worth it) I tried on japanese websites and local nendo split shops but they didn't have it or I am not using the right key word, what are they even called ? They don't have an entry here in MFC

Yeah well true shipping kills everything ^^"
I actually have no idea... I just call it nendo face ^^"
