Hi MFC!!
So, my sister has somewhat recently moved to the Netherlands, and we made a huge order from Taobao, with her stuff being the majority of the box, so we sent the stuff to her.
Now, originally she was supposed to come visit in April and bring my stuff from the order along, but because of some reasons, she can't come until July or August.
So, I'm getting super impatient, as my stuff has been sitting at the proxy we used for over a year now, and my sister is still a bit unfamiliar with things there.
So, people who live in the Netherlands, what shipping methods are available and affordable to South Africa?
Thanks for reading <3

Which is up to 2 kg and without any tracking. Other than Postnl there's DHL and UPS, but it really depends on whether there are any drop off points close by her. There are probably more options, but those three are the main ones that I know ship worldwide.
Ooof! That's quite the price, considering the size of my stuff, it wouldn't be worth it T-T and DHL and UPS have terrible service here too.
Thanks for the info <3
Chloe-tsundere • Vor 3 Monaten • #107858173Hmm there's not really a cheap option.
There's dhl, dpd, postnl, ups, Mondial relay and homerr.
Last two cheap but don't seem to ship to you.. Same for dpd.. Not sure about dhl.
I personally prefer going by postnl as I had the least problems with them. Dhl gave me problems but is usually cheaper.
Wow, there's quite a few available shipping methods! Too bad most of them won't really work for me, price to service wise anyway T-T
Thanks for the reply ^^
sailoroma • Vor 3 Monaten • #107858199My figure has been stuck at customs for over 2 months now with a shipping method that is supposed to take 2 weeks. The item arrived in the Netherlands before the whole Ukraine mess and it's still stuck.
It's a mess
But having shipped from the Netherlands to the USA I can say postnl is the cheapest
Eish, I hope it gets to you soon (and safely). Except for couriers, pretty much all packages coming to SA takes a month at minimum >.>
Thanks for the info ^^
