    The front frame looks so good with that slight tilt to it and the way you incorporated the lighting is so handy and clean. Great job on the chandelier too, I would've had no idea how to do that!
    Good luck with the furniture, small delicate things are hard to work with ^^;
    Have you thought of making furniture out of popsicle sticks/toothpicks yet? You could even add some fabric for a more realistic feel.
    Looking forward to the photos!

    Thanks. The chandelier was hard to make but the result is really great. I did think about popsicle sticks and toothpicks but the biggest con about them that they are made in such way that they splinter easily. They are usefull for adding small details but nog to make a strong frame. By the lack of inspiration i have restored some old dollhouse furniture by breaking them apart and building them up again with a new realistic paintjob. Three pieces are ready for use and i will show them in a blog. :D
    However i got some new inspiration when i was a few days ago in Disneyland. Only time can tell if those ideas actually will turn out nice. :)

    Last year i tried and learn some new technicks i want to use. In december i came across some interesting old (i guess 80's) wooden doll furniture. It is damaged but it has some charme to it. Currently i am restoring those items and bringing them in the same style as the diorama. I will definitely show the results in a blog post :)
    Old doll furniture is awesome! I found some old metal doll house kitchen appliances from the 1940s a while back, crazy yellow paint and rusted. Paint remover took off the yellow paint and now it's a nice rusted base metal. Things for a future set. Anyway, looking forward to your next set.

    TomoeVor 2 Jahren#37811735Holy crap, this is absolutely amazing craftsman ship. I'd love to see what photos and set-ups you'll come up with this.
    See you on the front page soon ;)

    Thanks. :D I have to try a lot of things, building it is different from using it's full potential. For now the focus is on some props that will fit in the Cube and testing some things out.

    RajkeVor 2 Jahren#37758453Don't worry, you wouldn't go by unnoticed. ;)
    The pictures with the natural light are actually natural light. All parts have dried in the open air but out of direct sunlight. The view had something creepy and i had to take some pictures of it. The silhouette picture is made in the second photoshoot. Not with natural light but 2 times normal light under a certain angle. This was my favorite picture of the shoot.
    I recently discovered that placing the figure on the left side at the front with the lights coming trough the window gives the effect that you can see the figure but can't see the full face. There is a lot possible with lights and not every spot in this cube works the same. There is a lot to try out. :D
