Im here to bore you again with another quick review
Today i decided to review something else for a change
The 10th Anniversary Miku Prize by Taito
The front of the box is pretty colorful with a big overall Miku pic on the front
The back has a close up of Miku with the 10th anniversary logo on the bottom left
The 1st side of the box has a close up and a look of her on the back
The 2nd side has a nice picture of the artwork Miku is based on, this actually surprised me a little bit which i thought was a nice touch.
The upper side and down side are a little dull so i did not make pictures of it the up side and down side has Miku's logo and again the 10th anniversary logo (They sure are proud of that logo)
Now for the unpacking im curious how she turned out
Miku straight out of the box wrapped in plastic with all her parts
and im very glad she has a plastic shell
some prize figures like Banpresto just come in a plastic bag
The back has a manual for how to assemble the figure which is probably not needed because she was easy to assemble.
I really like the base normally the bases of prize figures are big dull plastic bases
All of the Miku parts, the base is hidden under the manual.
after a few minutes she was assembled
The front view of the figure which is very nice
Close up on the face with a little something that looks like blush.
The left side and the right side
And now the back where i found out she has a little smudge on the back of her left twintail but it is a prize figure so you cannot expect too much for the prize i bought her for.
I really love her star bow on the back of her dress its real pretty.
Overall its a pretty figure and the scale is very nice not too small or too big and im very glad she turned out pretty nice usually Taito prize figures are not that great but i had to take a gamble because it was a 10th anniversary figure and i would like to get one for my collection, since my 1st figure was the original Miku Nendoroid.
I would recommend this figure but since this is a prize figure you never know what you might get in painting terms, just keep that in mind
if you decide to buy it but for Taito standards its a very nice prize figure from them for once.
Im still hoping Banpresto will make one i would definitely buy that one as well.

I was super impressed by the figure from this look at it but your picture has me a bit shocked; those stars are absolutely appalling. Is there anything you can do with contacting the seller about it?

I don't think AmiAmi would do anything about it. It's not broken or anything, it's just sloppy painting/sculpting which isn't anything new with prize figures. They are always hit or miss, though I never had one with such an error, lol. I might just get another one and hope that one is looking better. x')
