♥ A Magical Girl Appears! ♥
Well, more like a witch. Azone's Majokko series dresses up their original PureNeemo character like witches/magical girls. Ex Cute girls (schoolgirl line) are "LittleWitch of" and Ex Cute Family (siblings of Ex Cute girls) are just "Witch of" different themes. It reminds me of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica and Touhou - actually a few of the girls look like they are based off specific Touhou characters. The theme has been very popular! And for good reason, the outfits and color choices are just too cute!! (。⌒∇⌒)。
Trapped in a box!
Azone boxes are always the same size. Simple, small, and compact. Which is great! They are also very cute and easy to recognize if you are looking through stores like Mandarake. That silver pattern of stars, pointy hats, moons, cats, and various other witch-related patterns is perfect for her.
The doll is packed between two pieces of plastic, and the accessories are in little baggies and taped underneath. The doll's face is also covered with a strip of clear plastic to make sure there are no scratches. It's good to keep that piece in case you have to store her! Little catalogs are also packed back there. Mia come with two: One about her, and another for general care and hair styling.
Mia! The gentle witch.
Mia is one of Azone's original characters, and part of the Ex Cute Family.
She is actually my favorite girl! I had been trying to hunt down the original Mia, but I was very happy to see how this one turned out and knew I had to get her. That gentle look is why I like her so much! It's very calming and looks nice from many different angles. The eye decals and blush on the face are very well done. I also own Azone's Madoka, and the quality difference is obvious (this really goes for every aspect).
My Madoka has a PN S body, and I was surprised at how different they feel! Here is a comparison below.
Naked Dolly Bodiesclose
She is around 235mm with the PureNeemo M body. It's currently the tallest available (of XS, S, M), as the Large size hasn't been used yet. PureNeemo bodies are just adorable due to the cute curves and size! Posing is easy, but the normal body they come with are fairly limited. For example, the upper arms are only able to go forward and back due to the shoulder piece. Luckily alternative pieces are available to buy for a fairly cheap price. There are things like sitting bodies and more hands.
The head is soft, so to remove it (ack!) you just squeeze it a bit and pull it off. In the size comparison picture you can see everywhere they bend or turn. The knees and elbows bend. Then at each of those seams you can actually turn the body part to make different poses. For example you can turn a hand to have the palm facing her or turned away. You can also just take her apart! Usually to change out parts or to make it easier to put clothing on. I don't mind the seams, but I imagine for most they are not the prettiest.
A great thing about Azone PN dolls is that they come with many different sets of hands! Here are the ones that Mia comes with (not pictures is the extra shoulder piece). Some of them, like the peace sign and thumbs-up, are from the new hand set. Since they aren't ones that Madoka comes with I was very happy to receive them! Mia is currently posed with the thumbs-up, which always makes me smile.
You just pull them off and push another set back in, which is very convenient!
Long silver hair!
This was the first Mia with "unusual" colored hair, which was a big reason I wanted to get her. It's gorgeous in person! One thing about Azone dolls that people new to them should know is that the hair does not come styled. So you will have to do that yourself! Luckily it's not too hard. Most styles can be done with some doll hair gel and a comb. For the review I didn't style it so you can see how it normally is.
Long doll hair can be a bit unruly as you can see in the picture. Σ(゜ロ゜;)
Make sure to brush it down before taking pictures (unlike someone)!
A whole wardrobe!
Here is every piece of clothing she comes with! Right down to the panties. (◡‿◡✿) It's a lot! Even for most Azone releases. Every single piece is great, I am very impressed! Like stated above, my Madoka's overall quality isn't the same level. This is probably one reason why Azone original dolls are so popular!
Majokko form 1
Dress, stockings, and underthings!
Here is the first layer of her outfit. This includes the base dress, little petticoat underneath, stockings, and panties. The dress is so very cute, and the sheer parts are great details. There is a little zipper up the back to take it off easily. This is one of my favorite pieces by Azone! The stockings and petticoat are also lovely with good quality lace. Although you can't always see the petticoat it's a nice little detail when you can.
Since her whole outfit is darkly colored, this is the only bit of pop-out color!
Cute legs, cute stockings. (〜￣▽￣)〜
Majokko Form 2
With corset, boots, and wand!
She looks absolutely perfect in this! The corset and boots are made out of a vinyl material, which looks great paired with the sheer fabric and ruffles. I have no complaints here and want this outfit in my size!
Corset and arm pieces!
The corset is well fit and has two buttons at the back. The laces aren't adjustable, but that isn't a bad thing as you would never be able to make it look this perfect.I forgot to add the arm pieces earlier! Σ(゜ロ゜;)
There they are!
How could I forget them! The lace doesn't match the lace found on the tights or petticoat, probably because it would be too heavy, but it looks nice nonetheless. There is an elastic band at the top, so you can just slip them on. Here they are tucked under the puffy dress sleeves, but you can have them lower to look more like arm warmers as well! A nice little addition to her look.
The boots are amazing for 1/6th size shoes. I just really love them! Part of that might come from both my Shana and Madoka come with plastic school shoes. ヽ( ￣д￣;)ノ These zip up the back for convenience, but the laces are actually adjustable as well. Surprisingly they are very easy to have her stand in.
Majokko Form Super Ultra Supreme!
With coat and hat!
Mia, Witch of the Note's final form! Here has her large coat dress and hat added. Everything all together is a very impressive sight. It's actually a bit of a pain to put the coat on due to the all layers. Honestly I don't like the coat as much in person, but it does look great in pictures. At this point she makes me think of a Harry Potter character! (。⌒∇⌒)。Maybe a teacher of some sort? And definitely Ravenclaw.
The sleeves and coat tails are very long, so it gives a really dramatic look. There are also those cute buttons. There are two snaps under that front part to keep the coat together. The outer material is quite soft! But the fabric underneath reminds me of a trash bag. It's also very crinkly at the moment, which you can't see in the pictures very well. It's not fit around the middle tightly, so unless I bunch it up in the back I think it looks strange. Definitely not my favorite piece of the set, but still great for doll clothing.
With everything on the only bare skin you can see besides the face are her chest and thighs~ (*´∀｀*)
As much as I might say I dislike the coat, it does look great in pictures. Her hair and little red gem really stand out in all this black! Her plastic wand is cute and makes that music/note theme obvious.
Instead of a witch, maybe she should be a conductor!
A witch's staple!
Her little hat fits perfectly on her head. The tip is sewn down so it doesn't look silly. The big bow is cute! This outfit is such a great combination of cute, sexy, and dramatic. Overall I am incredibly happy with her! She exceeded my expectations and is now a favorite in my collection. If you are interested in Azone dolls I definitely suggest getting one! If you have any questions feel free to ask me, or in the Azone Club.
While I collect several different types of dolls, these PureNeemo are currently my favorite! I love everything about them. The size is fun to play with, the price feels fitting and I don't regret the purchase (which I will not say about all dolls), and there is a large variety of clothing and parts available for them. MFC was where I first learned about them. So I hope this posts helps get many more people interested in them!
This is my first review. I didn't want to do anything serious, but hopefully you enjoy it.
Initially I intended for it to be very short, but there was a lot of information about Azone PN dolls in general I wanted to share.
Thank you for reading! Hope to see you next time!!
