Greetings everyone, back with a new review! It's time to annihilate the demons of the cursed world as I review

Figma Guts
Black Swordsman Version

The first Figma to be released in the Berserk line, Guts comes packaged in typical Figma fashion with a plastic tray to hold all of his accessories contained in a blood-splashed cardboard box with plastic display window.

Like all Figma releases, Guts is a fully PVC figure, and towers over his fellow Figma line-mates, making him one of the largest to be released.

Featuring the typical assortment of Figma joints, Guts is still capable of striking intense and intimidating poses while swinging around his massive blade.

Gut's painting and molding is quite well done, recreating the vengeance seeking killing-machine in great detail.

When it comes to accessories, Guts has a fair amount. Included are four pairs of hands; two fists, two splayed open hands, two gripping hands, two slightly slanted gripping hands, and one of his robotic left hand locked in firing mode.

He also comes with two heads; one with a stern, glancing-forward face, and the other an enraged face with gritted teeth.

Included as well is his black cape, with the shoulder/neck area molded in soft plastic, and the hanging part made of a thick paper-like material. It requires the removal of his head to be placed on his shoulders, but doesn't limit his articulation much, if at all.

Lastly is the Black Swordsman's weapon of choice, the massive blade known as the Dragon Slayer.

A collossal weapon made of hard plastic, it stands even taller than Guts himself.

Despite being so large, he's able to handle it easily, allowing him to strike some intense slashing poses.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a347/MindsEyeANIME/Guts/015.jpg

The base of the handle is also removable, making it easier to slide into one of his gripping hands.

The Dragon Slayer is secured to his back via a hook attached to his throwing dagger strap.

The sling that hangs from his shoulder strap to his belt keeps it in place, and allows the Dragon Slayer to be stored there with or without the cape. The chain is also made of metal for those curious.

All in all, Guts is an excellent start to the line, giving us a good idea of what to look forward to with the future release of Griffith.

As far as complaints go, the biggest one is his elbows look a bit bizarre when his arms are bent at a sharp angle due to the way they were sculpted.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a347/MindsEyeANIME/Guts/020.jpg

Despite that small flaw, Guts is still a great figure, and if you're a fan of the manga or anime, then I'd certainly reccommend picking him up.

Otherwise, he'd certainly make an intimidating addition to any collection, and will probably tower over most figures you own.

As always, thanks a lot for checking out my review! I hope that it helped you to decide wether or not to pick up the marked slayer of Apostles!

Great review.
I think they should of used the joints that they used in Figma Metis's legs in his arms, they would of looked more natural that way :/

thanks for the review. I like the character, and the figma looks not bad. (I'm no fan of figmas)

Great review!
Guts looks like a very solid figma! I think the downsides are his right elbow and his cheap paper cape, but other than that he looks fantastic :D
Can't wait for mine to arrive :D
