Balmert (Vor 9 Tagen) #22359943yes you can do it with him too
Well, I'm already all-in with this line (though only got DP and Spidey on reissue). I can't be any more all-in with this line anymore!

I wish the world is as hyped as me about these!

Didn't realize TAC☆ from twitter put out SO MANY pictures of her.

Some of them are VERY impressive. Already the best female Spider figure of all time (not saying much....).

TwinkieSupreme (Vor 20 Tagen) #21937113Tbh, the way the Youtuber took pictures of and posed the figure was off to a point that the knee isn't properly aligned with the thigh making the gaps more obvious.
I think it all depends on how you pose her just like how it is for almost every Revoltech figure. Revoltech joints aren't as smooth as figma joints or Figuarts that's why it takes time to get them in a perfect pose that hides its flaws.

Yeah, I'm glad you are able to rotate at both sides of the knee, but I think I will refrain from doing that with mine LOL.

Still think they could've done something about how that kneecap pokes out like a sharp blade when bent though LOL. I would've been happy if they kept her knees like Spidey's. Cut in the middle, upper and lower leg each take half the kneecap.

goliathfasa (Vor 20 Tagen) #21936233Those gaps in the knees are starting to really bother me. They could've done a way better job making the look more continuous.
Oh well, there's enough good engineering in her that it still looks like an overall amazing package.
Check this video from random youtuber who seems to get their hands on prototype figures a lot.

TwinkieSupreme (Vor 2 Monaten) #19465423My mistake. Just got Revoltech Spider-Man and apparently Deadpool's thigh articulation is different from Spider-Man's. While Deadpool has another ball joint on his thigh for increased articulation, Spider-Man has a simple thigh swivel that goes on an angle.
I assume that Spider-Gwen's articulation would be the same to Spider-Man in a way that her thigh's just going to have a simple angled thigh swivel instead of the ball joint used on Deadpool.

It would seem so. Her thigh cut seems to be basically the same as Spidey's. That's interesting how DP has ball joints for the thigh cuts. Can't wait to get him in hand once 2nd release ships.

goliathfasa (Vor 3 Monaten) #19204011Hmmmmmm interesting. I don't yet own any figures from this line, so all my exposure to it is various reviews of the Deadpool and Spidey figures. Both of them do seem to have decent inward lateral movements in the hips, but not quite to the degree where the legs can close fully.
Hoping Gwen can achieve that even while standing upright, since being a lady and all. We'll see.

TwinkieSupreme (Vor 3 Monaten) #19199613The Amazing Yamaguchi line uses ball joints for the thighs and an additional ball-swivel joint at the middle of the thigh for additional movement that's why Spider-Gwen and others in the line are able to pose her legs near-closed.

She can close her legs! A Revoltech that can put their legs together??? What is this madness!?!?! We might have a real winner here.

Added some gray prototype photos of her from the sculptor's twitter (Yamaguchi <Katuhisa>? Did he mis-romanize his name?).

This pose in particular is VERY encouraging: (mfc link)

goliathfasa (Vor 3 Monaten) #18851187I'm actually excited about the distant possibility that they might continue this as a heavily-spider line, so they might tackle other spider females like Silk and Spider Girl. Probably not though, since Gwen is probably just a one-off due to her immense popularity. There's rumors of a Carnage in the works, so there's hope(?).
But yes, I can totally see them doing an X-23 if this line keeps doing well. She's popular enough, with her being in MVC3 and all. Probably going to go with that outfit though, if they ever do her. For some reason I can't see them doing the Femverine look for her. Not cute enough. Lol.

Ohhh I'd love them to make Silk! >_<

But yeah I agree, I don't know whether to get my hopes up just yet though if the rumored Carnage is true, that would nice as well. Admittedly I'd prefer X-23 in her X-Force or her normal/MvC3 outfit mainly because I'm not too fond of how they've been handling her as "Femverine" so far. >_>
