chaives (Vor 5 Stunden) #29891379It could be that one was kept in better conditions than the other? Things like heat, exposure to sunlight, etc., are the cause of nendoroid stickiness.

LoveChopper (Vor 16 Tagen) #29206267Need some insights from fellow Nendoroid collectors.
I have recently un-boxed two nendoroids which are both second-hand from two different sellers and around 4 years old respectively. The first one, the whole nendoroid, face plates and so on was very sticky. On the other hand, the second one, only the main body got a bit of stickness but not really that much and the face plates was ok.
I am wondering the reason behind the difference in stickness for the two nendoroids despite their similar age.
Thanks ^^

I am Japanese and I am from Japan.
English is a stinky one.
I translate it at the translation site.
If you have something you are looking for in the Nendoroid, please talk to me.
You may get it.
Please think that the amount of money is international shipping fee slightly above the new price.
I hope to be the power of your collection.
Thank you.

lambchan (Vor 2 Monaten) #26954835I just started collecting nendoroids cause they are cute I got hinata from haikyuu so far, but I want nishinoya but he is so darn expensive. ;-; where can I buy him for a cheap price?

I suggest waiting for a re-release. So far most of the others have been re-released so I think it's likely he will too (maybe when Asahi is goes up for PO)

andre30496 (Vor 10 Monaten) #18078520Is GSC cheaper or amiami cheaper?

Super late reply since I just joined the club but. I think the flat rate of shipping of GSC might make it cheaper, provided that everyone you want will be up for preorder at the same time and you're able to bundle them all into one order. If a figure you want closes pre-order and something else you want isn't up yet, you can't combine multiple orders so you have to pay $18 for the shipping with every order (but I think you can choose a cheaper shipping method if you only order one nendoroid, if I remember correctly).

I think AmiAmi's discount pricing and the fact that you can add things to your order so long as you haven't paid for it yet more than makes up for the exorbitant shipping fees they charge. So I suppose there is an advantage and disadvantage to both, depending on when your figures are up for pre-order. I would say multiple nendos with the same pre-order deadline would be cheaper on GSC, while one nendo/ nendo up for pre-order at different dates and wanting to combine them into one order would be AmiAmi's advantage.

TheTravelingSee (Vor 4 Monaten) #23886679I don't know, I kind of doubt that GSC will come out with any sort of Nendoroid for a Kyoto Animation show. It seems as though KyoAni hasn't provided GSC with the licensing to produce Nendoroids of their anime even though it isn't their source material all the time. We can only hope, but if the trend continues, there will most likely not be any Nendoroids coming from KyoAni anime (The exceptions being extremely old anime like Nichijou, K-On and Haruhi... Nothing from, say, Amagi Brilliant Park, Kyoukai no Kanata, Hibike Euphonium!, Free!, etc). A shame too, pretty sure a Kanna nend would kill the market.

Ah, you're right. A Kanna Nendo would sell like crazy. And KyoAni would make a mint from it!! And then they could produce even more fantastic anime. Oh well. Their loss.
