Hope Mako gets a re-release, she's so expensive (;_;)

i'd buy all three-- i'm hoping they'll get rereleased so i don't have to pay aftermarket... :/

Similar to Sword Art Online, maybe if Kill La Kill makes a movie...but that's highly less unlikely.

I too want those nendoroids, but at the same time so many good nendoroids (imo) are eventually gonna come out. Gotta give my wallet some air to breathe, lol.

ChocolateSpider (Vor 3 Monaten) #18590867Tokyo Otaku Mode restocked a few copies of Ryuko, Mako and Satsuki last month, but I missed Ryuko. But all of them should get a rerelease. Those are some of the most highly sought Nendoroids ever made.
I read about the restock after the fact. I'm glad people were able to get them, but I can help but be a little envious, haha.

I mean, even if the hype has died down in Japan, GSC has been observing what people want in the West. That said, in these cases, they also look to see if they are still popular in Japan (can't be too one-sided). I'm gonna guess that, depending on how well their new KLK scale sells, they might consider a re-release.

Seeing that scale is what gave me some hope, though it'd be a tall order to base fan interest on an expensive, sexy 1/4 scale figure, imo. Still, fingers crossed!

maggie (Vor 3 Monaten) #18594678I tried so hard, I was in contact with mamitan, I rallied double the amount of people needed/that she asked for. I dunno. I'm starting a project to make a Mako Figma myself so I guess that means I've lost hope.
I posted on the Facebook thread, so good luck.

I saw your blog post and the FB post and it's quite disheartening it wasn't enough to be heard by GSC. I wish you the best of luck in making your Mako figma, I'll definitely keep an eye out for it if you post progress pics!

kasumicc (Vor 3 Monaten) #18595497They really should re-release them, those aftermarket prices are awful. And there's a few of us that caught the series well past its prime, so no change to get those figures on release date.
I was one of the people late to the party, too. It was a bit heartbreaking to look up her Nendo and see what people were charging for her NIB. I was at least fortunate enough to grab a pre-order of her goku uniform version (because I'd be damned if I let another get away from me, haha).

The show was shit to begin with. I can't blame them for not rereleasing merch in relation to it.

Lost interest in Kill la Kill, so it's a no for me.

I would buy Ryuko and Mako for sure. The only reason I didn't purchase them yet is because I was hoping their re-release someday.

I enjoyed the series, but don't particularly need Nendoroids from it. I passed before with no regrets and would pass again if they re-released.

That said, I know a lot of people want them and I'd be quite happy to see them re-release.

The only one I wanted was Mako, which I managed to snatch from TOM when she was mysteriously restocked. But I'd still agree that they should be re-released.

I don't like Nendroids, but I wish we'd get more kill la kill scale figures.

No, I'm not interested in buying them.

They're so goddamn expensive lol. I think they meant the hype in Asian countries are dying for KLK...at least that's what I observed. I did not realise that it's still so popular in the West until I saw the aftermarket prices for KLK figures.
